ATLAS AIMS (Asset Information Management System) acts as a backend to ATLAS, allowing for a deeper review of the
data.
All assets are structured in accordance with a customisable asset hierarchy and configuration. ATLAS AIMS also
provides advanced integration options and a full API.
ATLAS has an intuitive web based interface, removing the need for installing specialist software. Users can easily access geolocated data on a GIS driven interface. ATLAS combines client specific route data to allow the integration of route and chainage information. ATLAS also overlays open source data sets such as satellite imagery to further enhance the datasets.
ATLAS has advanced track-tracing algorithms, and has also been trained on numerous asset classes for both video and point cloud data sets, which are pinned on the GIS map:
- Lineside Assets (e.g. Signage, Signals, Line-side Furniture)
- Structures (e.g. Overbridges, Tunnels, Viaducts)
- Track Assets (e.g. Axle Counters, IRJs, Balises)
Point clouds are generally extremely large files, and can be difficult to transfer, view and manipulate. ATLAS streams point clouds in such a way that they can be viewed on the web, with a standard browser and internet connection, without the need for sophisticated computing power. ATLAS works with all standard point cloud file types. ATLAS can also generate its own point clouds from video feeds.
ATLAS has native integrations to existing CAD and BIM software including Bentley Microstation (DGN), Autodesk Revit (RVT) and Civils3D (DWG). These models are streamed on the web viewer and can be interrogated to edit attribute information, tagged with unique identifiers, or create relationships.

ATLAS AIMS acts as a backend to ATLAS, allowing for a deeper review of the data. All assets are structured in accordance with a customisable asset hierarchy and configuration. Specific asset attributes can be viewed and edited. Each asset is given a unique asset ID which acts as the golden thread to monitor the asset through its lifecycle.
ATLAS also has a full REST API meaning that all the structured data can be extracted and used for further
review and analysis. Power BI dashboard can also be used with this API.
ATLAS AIMS also provides asset exports in CSV formats direct from the front-end.
Schematics can be automatically generated from the data within the system. Route data is displayed to scale with configurable layers for asset types. ATLAS can also import DGN design schematics and extract the assets from the plan.
